Yoga is an ancient system of mind-body exercise. At Shambala, we teach hatha yoga classes designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels and body types. Every yoga class begins with breathing exercises, then adds physical postures which focus on flexibility, balance, and strength-building, and class ends with a meditation. The practice of yoga connects our mind, body and spirit, and recognizes the universal energy that surrounds us all. The breathing and stretching exercises have a profoundly relaxing effect, relieving stress and fatigue.
